Painting:
- Technique and theme: free
- Dimensions: width minimum 70 cm and length maximum 250 cm.
- Each artist is allowed to participate in the festival with a maximum of five works.
 

Poster:
- The submitted posters must have cultural (literature, film, theater, music, visual arts, festivals, tributes, etc), social or religion (celebrations, mourning, etc) themes.
- Each artist is allowed to participate in the festival with a maximum of five works.
- In addition to submission of photos, a CD containing the works on TIFF – CMYK format and a quality of 300 dpi must also be presented to the Festival’s Secretariat.
- The name, surname, the registration code and the phone number of the artist must be written on the CD.
- All the selected works will be printed and displayed at a format of 70 x 100 cm.
 

Ceramics:
Technique: free
- Dimensions: The volumetric works must have a maximum volume of 120 cm3 (120 x 120 x 120 cm) while the maximum length of any side of a
  bas relief works must not exceed 150 cm.
- Each artist is allowed to present the prints of maximum 3 works to the competition.
- Works with patina or cold (non-fired) glazing will be rejected.
- Works submitted must have been fired at a minimum degree of 900o C.
- Works produced in numbers (presented in the market) or copied from other artists will be rejected.
- The photos of the works must be taken from a number of different angles and must be of good quality.
 

Miniature:
- Dimensions and theme: free
- This competition will be held in the 3 orientations of Iranian miniature.
- The use of gouache, watercolor, acrylic and gold paint in the mentioned orientations is allowed.
- Each artist is allowed to present the prints of maximum 3 works in any orientation to the Festival. Photos of the works must be of good
  quality (clearly showing the details).
- Only works using actual gold in coloring would be accepted in the gilding section.
- All works must have been created within the past year.
- All works selected for display at the exhibition must be framed.
 

Calligraphy:
- Text: free
- This festival will be held in the 3 orientations of Nastaliq, Broken Nastaliq, and typographic painting (the orientations of Nastaliq and broken
  Nastaliq are the permanent features of all festivals and other specialized fields of this section will appear on periodical basis.
- Dimensions:  Maximum length of a side of the work must not exceed 150 cm.
- Each artist is allowed to present the prints of maximum 3 works in any of the above scripts to the competition.
- Pure imitations and copies of masters’ works will be rejected.
- All works selected for display at the exhibition must be framed.
- Works submitted for typographic painting section must have a suitable framework.
 

Photography:
- Subject: documentary, Iran tourism (historical monuments, nature, ethnic groups, etc)
- Dimensions: works of can be in processed (analogue), digital, black and white of color format.
- Each artist is allowed to present a maximum 7 photos to the festival.
- The photos must not have been processed with a software application.
- In addition to photos, a CD containing the works in TIFF format (for exhibition display) at a resolution of 300 dpi must be sent or delivered to the Secretariat.
- The files on CD must be labeled in the following manner (surname, name and photo number, for example: Tehrani Ali 01).
- The photographer’s name, surname, registration code number and phone number must be written on the CD.
 

Cartoon:
- This section will consist of the two orientations of thematic cartoon and caricature portrait.
- Each artist is allowed to present a maximum 6 works to the Festival.
- Works submitted to the previous festivals will not be accepted.
